We currently have two great exhibitions touring to venues around the country. Each showcases a different aspect of the museum's collections.
Petal Power features the work of women employed by the Silver Studio in London between 1910 and 1940. It includes hand-drawn and painted designs for floral dress fabrics, reflecting the fashions of the interwar period. Petal Power can be seen at Chepstow Museum until the 30th June 2013, and then in Guildford from August to October.
Sonic Wallpapers features a selection of wallpaper samples from our extensive collections. Each is accompanied by a piece of sound art created by artist Dr Felicity Ford. The exhibition brings a new dimension - sound - to a medium usually thought of only in visual terms. You can also experience Sonic Wallpapers as an online exhibition.
Both Petal Power and Sonic Wallpapers are available to hire. Please contact Sara at Expositionis if you would like to find out more.
And a book to accompany each exhibition is also available from our online store,
