Day 68 - Hendon, Middlesex University Campus

Today the torch comes nearly all the way to the Museum of Domestic Design & Architecture, as it visits the Hendon campus of Middlesex University.  Here is a historic guide to the local area informing visitors about things to do and making sure the Torch doesn't take a wrong turn, as it did in Bristol.

Both of these books are examples of what can be done with simple printing techniques. Using only coloured paper and black ink the designers of these pamphlets have come up with different ways to imparted useful information in an interesting way. Through variations of text and page layout, and simple decoration, these pamphlets keep up the viewers interest despite the mundane subject matter.

We're in the final straight now with just two days to go until the Olympics, so lets hope the athletes can keep up the pace too!
